Hey Guys!
Welcome back! Today I’m going to be doing the Three Bookish Things Tag! I was tagged by Rachel @ A Bookworm’s Paradise, (Go check her out if you haven’t already!). I’ve been so excited to do this tag, and I hope y’all enjoy it!
I am also going to be doing The Red Book Tag, which was created by Nashita @ Books and Brownies! I was tagged by Madinah @ Mochas and Madness and Ash @ Ink and Ash!
Let’s get started!
3 Bookish Things Tag
3 Read-Once-And-Loved Authors

- Taylor Jenkins Reid (Author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo)
- Chloe Gong (Author of These Violent Delights)
- Xiran Jay Zhao (Author of Iron Widow)
3 Titles I have watched but not read

- Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children ( It was okay, I’m not really a horror movie person)
- The Princess Diaries ( It was a fun movie, but I don’t think I would ever read the book)
- Game of Thrones ( I enjoyed this show so much except the last two seasons, and would LOVE to read the books! )
3 Series I have binged
I don’t binge-series in one day, to be honest. I take my time and like to process the whole series on my own time. The only one I have is The Air Folk series.
3 Characters I love
Such a tough question because I have so many. More than I can count! But I narrowed it down to three that I love when I get to read about them.
- Helene Aquilla from An Ember in the Ashes
- Enrique + Zofia from the Gilded Wolves (I can’t choose between the two of them // Also I hope they end up together in the next book)
- Bree Matthews from Legendborn
3 Current Favorite Covers

- Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim (This cover is absolutely gorgeous, and I have wanted to read this book since it came out! I finally got a copy, so hopefully, that’s soon!)
- Ace of Spades by Faridah Abike Lyimide (Another beautiful and anticipated read for this year! Once again, I just got this book, so I’m hoping to read it soon!)
- The Atlas Six by Olivia Blake (This isn’t that good as the other one, but I love how simplistic it is! I’m so excited for this one and have heard such good things about it from my fellow bloggers!)
3 Things I have used as bookmarks
I’m not going to include bookmark since this seems to ask for other items beside a bookmark. But yes, I have used a book mark before.
- Post it note (sticks on the pages easily)
- Ripped Paper (I just rip a piece of paper nearby and put it in)
- Finger (Only if I put my book down for a sec otherwise I use something that can stay within the pages)
3 Unpopular Bookish Opinions
- I never really liked Hunt Athalar and thought he was a very toxic love interest. I also found Crescent City to be mediocre at best and that there were many flaws.
- A Sky beyond the Storm (the fourth book of An Ember in the Ashes series) was not good, and I was very disappointed by it.
- I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion. I thought The Night Circus was very confusing and felt that the synopsis was very misleading.
3 Bookish Goals for the year
- Complete my Goodreads Goal of reading 50 books this year! I’m currently at 39, so I’m pretty close to it!
- Write a review for every book I’ve read this year! This either could be on Goodreads or my blog but I have a tendency to post it on both unless it’s a special case.
- Find new blogs on the blogsphere and meet other book bloggers!

Red: A book that you love with a burning passion

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: If you haven’t read this book, please do. This is a wonderful story showing the behind-the-scenes of Hollywood from the 50s to 80s. It shows how many women during this time were treated poorly and could not be themselves. Also, Evelyn is such an interesting morally grey character, and you question her actions. But then you realize that she is doing these things for the right reasons, most of the time.
I Knew You Were Trouble: A book you knew would cause you emotional trauma

A Conjuring of Light: From the start, I knew this would cause me emotional trauma. It’s the last book of A Darker Shade of Magic Series. I loved this series, and I was devastated that this was the last book because I fell in love with the characters. I loved the world that the author created, and many times I wanted to live there myself.
We are never ever getting back together: A book you’ve cut ties with

Ash Princess: I never liked this book, and I knew I wasn’t going to read the whole series, so I decided to stop at the first book. I found many flaws within this book, and it was not enjoyable to read. There was also so much repetition, and it quickly became annoying.
I almost do: A book you know is trash, but you love it anyway

A Court of Thorns and Roses: This book has many problems. From slow pacing, being in the Spring Court way too long, the romance was not believable, and repetition in both language and plot. But I know the series get better, so that’s why I love it anyways. This series has the most iconic characters in YA genre.
All too well: A book you remember everything about

These Violent Delights: I was engrossed when reading this. Gong crafted a brilliant story with a lovable character, an engaging plot, and well-developed worldbuilding. I can recall every single thing that happens in this book even though I read it months ago.
Begin again: A book that got you out of a reading slump
Okay, so here’s the thing: I don’t get into reading slumps. Rather I get super busy, so I’m not able to read that much. So I can’t answer this question since I don’t get into slumps.
If y’all want me to do a discussion on reading slumps in the future, Let me know in the comments!
Everything has changed: A book you knew you would love at first sight

Blood Like Magic: Once I read the synopsis and saw the cover of this book, I knew I was going to fall in love. A sci-fi world that has genetic technology and witches who perform magic. That stars a lovable and relatable main character. That sounds like the perfect book for me!
